The scripture that helps me to keep my mind focused is from Colossians 3:1-3… “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” This truth helps me to avoid looking at the storm around me as Peter did and it helps me to stay focused on Christ. I really needed this reminder to man my thoughts as Isaiah 55 encourages us to do! Thank you for this beautiful word Jenay!

John 8:31 IF You continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed ;and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall MAKE you FREE!!
So if you want to be set FREE you must read and study to show yourself approved unto God.

I’ve learned that nature reminds us that shifting our focus shifts our thinking, and that when we are up in our heads we are in fear and have removed ourselves from His presence. His presence, like nature is grounding and rest in His nature both literally and Spiritually is a re-start for our souls. Great word Jenay! ❤️
